I am having some difficulty with uploading a new profile picture. Can anyone help with this issue?
To my original followers…
You may have noticed that it’s almost been a year since I last posted on this site, not counting yesterday. To tell you the truth, it’s been almost a year since I’ve written anything at all other than an occasional journal entry. My life has been really busy lately and I’ve just recently gotten it somewhat back under control. If you noticed what yesterday’s post revealed, I got pregnant last February, plus I didn’t find out until the beginning of March. Ever since then, my life has revolved around my son, who is now going-on four months old. When you have a child, it really is a challenge to make time for other things you may want or even need to do… unless those things involve the care of said child. So I hope that all is forgiven? Maybe?
I must admit that I was a little hesitant at first to share this new journey in my personal life with you all. Not to offend anyone. It’s just that this site is not at all like any of my social media sites, where about ninety percent of my followers are people I’ve at least met in person. Then I realized that, in a way, I am not accompanied by strangers here. We are all writers, after all, sharing like minds, content, and at times, lending a helping hand. During those lonely moments in life, this place can feel almost like home. 🌻💙
Going forward, I will be continuing this blog’s traditions: Faith-based posts on Sunday, Motivation Monday, etc. I think, though, that I’ll change Relaxation Wednesday’s theme to fit a more broad spectrum, if you will, of self-help. In other words, I will be sharing anything I find or experience that may be helpful to body, mind, and soul. I’m just not yet sure what I will call it. If you have any ideas, feel free to comment below! 🙂
NOW… ABOUT MY PROMISE. I still haven’t forgotten about the followers that originally got me to the big number twenty-five. I understand that I’ve lost one but I definitely see some new faces! All of your blogs are listed at the bottom of this page. I’m not sure if I will be continuing on with mentioning new followers, so there’s a heads-up on that. But I am a person who follows through with a promise and believes in the old saying, “better late than never,” so that’s why I’m doing this now. If there’s a blog on this list you haven’t checked out, go check it out! I challenge you to take five minutes to skim through one blog on this list and either like one of their posts or leave a good comment. We do, after all, need each other’s support and feedback.
Thank you all so much for staying with me on thi sjourney. It’s not nearly over yet. We’ve had but a minor setback. 😉

“Being a mother is hard to describe. What do I think
about it? I’ve been asked that several times already.
Since I can’t sleep this morning, I thought I’d give
it a try…
“When my husband and I made the decision to try for
a baby back in February, I knew somehow that I was
finally ready. I think God made that clear to me by
blessing us with an immediate and successful
pregnancy which brought forth a healthy, precious
“…when I gaze at my infant son, I realize that
he is a literal piece of me that will carry on long
after I’m gone…It’s an indescribable feeling beyond
what I’ve imagined. To say the least, it’s all that
I’ve wanted and more.”
So I have indeed noticed that my followers grew to 25!! It’s slow but steady growth and I am really excited about that. 😁😁😁
Which brings me to the appreciative shoutout post which I promised to those newcomers who had initially brought me to 21… That is still in the works and once I have time I will read up on each of your blogs so that I have content. I will also be making another shoutout to the ones who brought me to 25 and it will follow right after the first one. So stay tuned my friends! The future is near. 🌼
Sending out love and good vibes to all those in need. 💙🌼

Looks like the winter storm finally made its way to the West coast this past weekend… I went home to visit on Friday and saw more snow than I had ever seen in my entire life! — It was still less than a foot, mind you. 🙂 We had a grand time beholding it…
Anyhow, to address the elephant in the room, I know I haven’t been able to keep up with posts on this blog as of late. Life has a way of throwing monkey wrenches in your plans. Nevertheless, I do promise a comeback in the near future. There’s so much to catch up on! And there are several new ideas that I’ve written down and want to try out. Until then, stay tuned! As well, have a marvelous Monday. 🌼
